What the Pros Are Wearing at Shinnecock This Week

There are majors in golf, and then there is our country’s national championship. It’s kind of a big deal. And while the golf may not always come easy this year at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York, the style most definitely will.

Here’s a preview of what some of the biggest names in the sport will be wearing on one of the biggest stages of the season. And the good news is, you can dress just like them.

Viktor Hovland and J. Lindeberg Do It Again

Viktor Hovland remains one of the bright young stars in the game, continuing to stand out with his style along with his talent. That continues for the year’s third major courtesy of J.Lindeberg's 30 Year Anniversary Capsule, designed to celebrate the brand’s 30 year legacy.

This includes the very breathable and stretchy 30Y Devyn Pants and 30Y Devyn Striped Pants, paired with the 30Y Wallis Knit Polo, which blends bold stripes with everyday playability.

Can Jacob Bridgemen Shock the World (Again)?

Jacob Bridgemen, who battled hard to secure his first PGA Tour victory at the 2026 Genesis Invitational back in February, will look to add to his now-impressive resume with a major win, and he’ll do it sporting Adidas. More specifically, he’ll do it in the lasting comfort of the Ultimate365+ Pencil Stripe Climacool Polo paired with the Ultimate365+ 5-Pocket Pants for durability and a premium feel.

Scottie and Rory: Chasing History

The world’s number one player, Scottie Scheffler, has a chance to secure the career grand slam with a national championship. Meanwhile, number two in the world, Rory McIlroy, is looking to win this major for just the second time, 15 years after his first one. And the brand they’ll both be trusting to deliver history: Nike.

Scottie is going for a more conservative look in the Dri-FIT Par Polo in various colors, designed with a top-stitched self-collar, a split hem, and a comfortable standard fit. And Rory’s looks for the week include the Dri-FIT TP Floral Polo with stretch fabric for ease of motion, paired with the Velocity 5-Pocket Pants which are crafted with a lightweight woven fabric.

J.J. Looking To Go W-W

J.J. Spaun won this event last year, capturing his first-ever major at Oakmont Country Club outside of Pittsburgh. This year J.J. is hoping to add a second “W” in a row, and he’ll do it once again outfitted by Puma. Like the MATTR Lighthouse Polo, built with a lightweight performance fabric which provides supreme comfort levels. And also the CLOUDSPUN Rugby Polo, with an insanely soft feel paired with 4-way stretch and moisture-wicking.

Hunting For a Major

Greyson Clothiers will once again be turning heads at a major thanks to some standout pieces worn by some standout players. Like Jon Rahm in the G Squared Polo, which unites sport, fashion and functionality, and Shane Lowry in the Crowley Icon Short Polo – a refined classic.
