The first major of the 2026 season has come and gone in men’s golf. And while Rory McIlroy securing his second straight green jacket was the main story from a memorable week in Augusta, there were plenty of other fashion statements throughout the week that are worth mentioning.
We already pointed out some of our favorite major-inspired drops to kick off the season, now check out some of our favorite looks from the week’s best performers. With brands like Nike, Peter Millar, johnnie-O and Greyson Clothiers grabbing much of the air time, the first major of the season had nearly as much brand power as it did star power.
Nike: Just Winning
For earning his second green jacket in as many years, champion Rory McIlroy chose to do it in the Nike Dri-Fit Velocity Micro Polo, along with Velocity Dri-Fit pants and his ever-steady Victory Tour 4 golf shoes.
The runner-up in Augusta – and the top-ranked player in the world – was Scottie Scheffler, who sported a couple of different and fun looks from Nike throughout the week, highlighted by the Dri-Fit Par polo and the Dri-Fit Par 5 Icon polo. Of course he capped each day with, well, his cap: the Dri-Fit Club Swoosh hat.
Cam and Sam and Justin and… Peter Millar
Dominating much of the TV coverage and the leaderboard throughout the weekend in Augusta were a few fan favorites in Cameron Young, Sam Burns, and Justin Rose. And dominating their bodies was the name Peter Millar.
The brand has a way of masterfully blending high-performance technical fabrics with a refined, understated aesthetic. And between the three of those golfers, highlights from the week included pieces like the Ballad Performance Jersey polo and the Solid Performance Jersey polo, along with the Stealth Performance quarter zip pullover and the Winsome Hybrid full zip cardigan.
The Best of the Rest
Some other names that made their mark on the leaderboard – and the fashion board – include Tyrell and Hatton and Shane Lowry, both looking sharp in Greyson Clothiers pieces like the Crowley Icon polo. Meanwhile Jake Knapp, who recently joined up with johnnie-O, continued his solid play this season while definitely looking the part in options like the Performance Mesh Stetson Stripe polo.
And even though Viktor Hovland didn’t manage to contend down the stretch like he sometimes does, his J. Lindeberge attire once again may have stolen the show with the Dario Tour Print and Bridger Tour polos that he so perfectly sported.
